Not since American Graffiti has a film quite captured the high school youth in such a memorable form.

Dazed and Confused is often thought of as a film for teenagers when in reality it is an interesting and entertaining look at youth in a time gone by to be enjoyed by anyone interested.

While I did find some of the performances a little over the top and unatural, the film as a whole is filled with humour, honest situations, and is a clear change from the Brady Bunch way one might think about kids growing up in the 70s.

Highly recommended to anyone who may want to revisit a more casual and less uptite 1970s and have some fun watching young versions of Milla Jovovich, Ben Afleck and one of the most memorable Matthew McConaughey performances ever.
