I was surprised at how effective this film was, before I had seen it I had dismissed it as shock for shocks sake but it really is the first ever feminist horror film. it is however a very brutal and gruelling watch, one that I most likely wont revisit but I was glad that I took the time to actually see what the fuss was about.
not for the faint of heart.
