The murder mystery aspect of Darkness Visible is paired with supernatural elements in a wildly satisfying way. I love supernatural horror and I thought this movie was really compelling with its unique look on the Indian paranormal.
There was a lot of interesting Indian mythology and culture rooted in the film that brought on an immensely fantastic ending that had me shell-shocked. India as a backdrop to the horrific and puzzling string of murders was absolutely captivating.
It get especially more interesting when you start to realize that the main character Ronnie personally plays a role in all the mythology that he doesn’t realize or intend. Intense, engrossing, creepy- I definitely recommend this movie to any fans of horror or suspense.
