Review of Dare (2013) by Andy S — 15 Feb 2010

Here's a big shock: Dare is quite the daring film. The three-act story is believable and still interesting. I liked the fact that the audience rarely gets to know quite exactly what the three main characters ever really think: we have to judge them based on their actions and even then everything's not quite as it seems.

I really like that ambiguity and uncertainty. However, that may frustrate other viewers, so I wouldn't suggest watching it unless you're willing and open to that idea. Still, it's far better than most high school sexual maturity/angst movies.
