Review of Dancer in the Dark (2000) by A.d. O — 18 Mar 2014
A perfect example of Von Triers narrative and directive skills, blending the musical-based plot with the grim and sometimes just plain depressing drama that slwoly becomes more sentimental and shocking, thanks to the amazing story and stellar acting by Bjork.
One of Von Triers best and one that is now among my favorites.
