Review of Dagon (2001) by Blake M — 04 Apr 2008
At first glance a bizarre take on Lovecraft's already deliciously bizarre universe, yet the alterations to the storyline for clarity and budget concerns do not seem to harm lovecraft's original message, even though the film is set in Galicia, Spain, instead of New England and the monsters speak Gallego instead of English.
A prime example of how to make a successfully creepy adaptation with very few available resources.
