Review of Cutter's Way (1981) by Michael K — 31 Dec 2007
A classic counter culture novel adapted into a film that captures part of what I imagine the novel had. It wasn't bad but the direction was a bit flat and I wasn't that enamoured with one of the lead characters who was a bit hammy at times.
The best thing I got out of this was that it looked like it had some influence on the Coen Brothers' The Big Lebowski.
