Review of Cthulhu (2008) by Erno K — 24 May 2009
Not bad, but not great. Doesn't really seem like much on an adaptation of "The Call of Cthulhu" as t reminded me more of The Shadow Over Innsmouth." It seems when people decide to adapt H.
P Lovecraft, they never stick to one story and end up throwing a bunch of his stories together. The movie is better than some of the really awful adaptations I'v seen. I think the acting left a little to be desired.
I think that was what really held it back because the setting was quite good. I've never thought of Oregon when thinking of Lovecraft, but I guess as long as the seaside is included it's possible.
