Review of Crooklyn (1994) by Loteria M — 28 Apr 2010
As usual with Spike Lee it's extremely well-intentioned, but compared to the fresh, subversive nature of some of his other films, it grows tiresome. The characters aren't as well-developed and it follows too closely to a typical coming-of-age narrative.
