Review of Crimson Peak (2015) by Tyler S — 09 Nov 2015
Entertaining enough with solid acting and a lot of nice set pieces. But ultimately it's bound to be forgotten due to a predictable plot and some generic creature design. Not Guillermo's best by a long shot.
It tries to ride the line between spooky haunted house movie and a whodunnit mystery but only does a ho-hum job of accomplishing either.
