Review of Crimson Peak (2015) by Katie D — 20 Jan 2018
I didn't really like it. Felt like the story's been done before (which, after reading how Shape of Water and Monster Trucks are basically the same movie, doesn't seem that surprising). I felt the end was a silly mess like they didn't know how to end it.
And I didn't think the antagonists' motives were strong enough especially since one of them wasn't as twisted and evil as the other. Nice visuals though.
