Review of Contempt (1963) by Janz D — 06 Jul 2009
Godard challenges you to take sides where there really isn't a need to, but as the voyeurs in the cinematic game we are compelled. Le Mepris is as close as anyone has come in carefully showing the disintergration of a marriage as the incomparable Bergman.
Magnificent!
