Review of Contempt (1963) by Jake W — 25 Aug 2009
A big budget/co-Italian attempt by Godard that shows the parallels of a dissolving marriage and a troubled film project. The pacing is quite slow, and Godard's quirks usually in his films are bare minimal in here.
Although, great performances by the cast and the story is fairly good which makes this worth watching. I wouldn't say this is Godard's worse that I've seen, but its certainly not his best.
