Review of Con Air (1997) by Duncan L — 12 Aug 2010
While Nicolas Cage during the 90s was riding to fame, Con Air was not exactly his best. While the trailer show so much potential as an action packed film, the final product was a bit of a let down as it felt a little rushed and distorted.
With a cast to die for, sadly not every actor is utilize well and the action seems to be average at its best. Director Simon West did an okay job directing this film but with a weak storyline to push the action genre, it could have been better if it were to focus what is important.
Still, action fans will enjoy this little flawed piece.
