Definitely a movie that you need to be in the mood for watching. Slow-paced yet rather satisfying mixture of dystopia and romance with a splash of detective story thrown in. Beautiful, if sterile, cinematography evokes spiritual if not thematic parallels to Children of Men.
Understated performances round out to a worthwhile package.
