Tongue thoroughly wedged in cheeck, Cockneys Vs Zombies is an offbeat black comedy that if anything deserves a cult status. Not the greatest film ever made of course, but there are enough stupid laughs, and lashings of gore to keep you entertained for the modest 88 minute run time.
Let's face it, you bought it for the prospect of seeing Brick Top disembowelling zombies with an M16 anyway. Chas 'n Dave's zombie song for the end credits will most likely haunt your dreams for weeks.
