Review of Cockneys vs Zombies (2012) by Steve W — 19 Jul 2014
This British zombie movie is in the same vein as Shaun of the Dead, with comedy elements mixed in with the horror aspects. A bank robbery goes horribly wrong when the police arrive, and even worse when ZOMBIES are unearthed in an ancient tomb.
The result is some good gore and violence, and a pretty solid time. The only complaint I have is that after the heroes find a stockpile of amazing weaponry, the suspense factor goes down a lot. Either way, its a solid zombie flick worth seeing.
