Review of Clear and Present Danger (1994) by Troy L — 21 Apr 2008
Yeap, he surely fits the role...Ford hits the screen again as Jack Ryan, CIA's analyst and star figure in the novels of Tom Clancy...This one has more action than "Patriot Games", describing what soldiers face on covert ops around the globe, along with the internal "politically correct" orders, deciding who's going to live and who will be left alone in the field.
..The order of switching off the radio in this movie can remind of the corresponding one in "Rambo First Blood Part II", during the extraction scene before Rambo is captured...No matter how American can this movie be, the meaning is clear: leave no man behind.
