Review of Clear and Present Danger (1994) by Eric M — 30 Aug 2014
Easily the best of the Jack Ryan films, it might be a bit overlong, but it delves into moral complexity and an intelligent plot in a way not seen enough in most action thrillers. With some surprising emotional potency, and a great examination of the moral compromise forced by political machinations, Harrison Ford takes a fantastic turn as a lone man of truth in a context of lies and death.
Some great cinematography and action only adds to the equation.
