A true horror classic!
Fulci did an amazing job of building atmosphere & tension with the skillful relief of heavy violence. The script isn't all there, but The direction plays more like a series of frightening scenes back to back, instead of a linear plot. But in that formula Lucio Fulci really spreads his wings as a director. He made a film that just couldn't be made today. Great unpretentious horror from a master of the genre.
