Review of City of the Living Dead (1980) by David E — 20 Dec 2017
I gave "City of the Living Dead" a chance, but I was very disappointed: the acting was poor & the story didn't make sense (especially that ending!). The only redeeming parts of the film would be the eerie music & the gore, but it's not enough.
To me, this is director Lucio Fulci's weakest film. If your a horror/gorehound fan, you would like to watch this. But if you expect something more, then this film is just not that good.
