Review of City of the Living Dead (1980) by R.john X — 22 Dec 2009
Not so much a zombie flix, tho there is some gut munching, more of a dead priest gates of hell ghost movie. There are some great nasty effects, like the back of the head skull tear that makes the brains ooze out, or the bloody eyes until your intestines vomit out, or the three minute maggot storm that attacks the characters that literally leaves the floor squirming.
Other than a stupid ending, this one is pretty good.
