Dark, dark, dark, black film; so dark, a Nazi comes out as one of the only heroes. Looks at the Japanese overtaking of Nanjing (true event). Like the Heart of Darkness kind of journey into the darkness present within all men, given the right circumstances.
Man adapts to his environment.
