Formulaic, contrived Christmas comedy that doesn't really work but is a lot of fun. Dennis Morgan and Barbara Stanwyck have amazing onscreen chemistry, the ending is a lot of fun. Not all that funny, want a screwball-type comedy try Christmas Vacation.
