Jack Nicholson has always been one of the best actors in the world making classics such as The Shining, Five Easy Pieces, A Few Good Men and he displays his talents yet again here... Chinatown is an excellent 1970's movie that has a very good story, I think it's about water but not seen it in ages.
I'd say it's a drama/thriller and Jack Nicholson is a detective. The director (Roman Polanski) makes an appearance in the film when he slices Jack Nicholson's nose in half. A smartly directed movie with a good storyline.
Great film.
