Review of Child's Play 2 (1990) by James R — 27 Mar 2011
Wow what a pleasant surprise. Most sequels especially those from horror films of the 80's have a tendency of sucking badly. Childs Play 2 is very similar to the first film, but actually isn't half bad.
The movie takes place several months after the events of the first film with Andy the lead character from the first film moving into a foster home. The Chuckie doll comes back alive and tries to get to Andy so he can transfer his soul over.
The film itself has some super cheesy moments full of terrible effects, but the film overall Is still a bit creepy. There seems to be something about red head dolls that doesn't click with me haha.
Overall, if you liked the first one you'll probably like this..give it a try!
