Chucky is a bad ass in this film! We start to see Chucky's character more in this film, however the only downside is that because we see the doll in live action through nearly the whole film, it simply takes away from the suspense.
This film does however prepare us for the other sequels in regard to character buildup, which I think deserves an above fair rating.
