Review of Child's Play 2 (1990) by Noah S — 23 Aug 2018
I know that everyone else in this entire liked "Child's Play". It was all right. For me, I just couldn't get in to it. But this sequel got me depressed, very depressed the most, like as a kid, I was being terrorized and my life will be jeopardy from beginning to end.
"Child's Play 2" is one of the worst movies I've EVER SEEN. When did I found out from the story? Well..... All of them, of course. Chucky is back from the dead, start doing some foul-mouthed language stuff, killing more people, as a matter of fact, Chucky is still doing that stabbing thing with the knife at the same time.
Like Gene Siskel, the Chicago Tribune said, "Sickening". That's what I said, "Sickening." Anyway, there was one scene I really didn't like... Andy has been tied up on his bed and being terrorized by Chucky tries to switch bodies.
The story is mostly disappointing when Andy's mother was been taken to psychological hospital, so he has to live with his foster parents, which means he'll never see his mom again. That was so sad.
So anyway, this sequel goes on my list of the worst movies of the year. No offense, but it's time to make my decision. "Child's Play 2" is definitely NOT a part of my childhood. Why? Because Chucky is such a violent, non-stop, and foul-mouthed villain, just like "Friday The 13th" and "Halloween", and especially an underlined foul-mouthed evil.
Now to all of those who thinks that this sequel was good or great film, that's fine. You really liked it. I couldn't care less. But for others who thinks that it was so violently abusive, and dialogue was so cheesy too much foul-languages when Chucky did, like me, then I suggest that you should give it a big thumbs down and then.
.. skip it.
