Review of Chapter 27 (2007) by Darryl J — 26 Mar 2008
Concerning the subject, the picture has a successful atmosphere - it's both frightening and strange. Since the movie proceeds with connections to the The Catcher in the Rye, a more mystic and artistic surrounding is created for it.
Jared Leto makes an impressive performance. His voice is creepy and feeble at the same time. The movie raised more questions than answers, which of course was expected, but that - at least for me - gave a distressed feeling and flattened the ending a bit.
