Review of Cemetery Junction (2010) by Les E — 06 Jan 2011

Even though the story and outcome is pretty standard, the film is elevated above others in the genre by the quality of the acting and the dialogue. Cooke is good in the lead, jones was a nice charming female lead, goode and fiennes made good villains, and its always good to see gervais acting, even in small roles, the fat guy from extras has a great scene in a jail cell, also the film has some pretty funny moments, tho its to be expected from the clever minds of gervais/merchant, while not their best stuff, still a very solid entry in their repertoire.
