Review of Carnal Knowledge (1971) by Naische F — 06 Aug 2008
Great piece of American cinema from veteran director Mike Nichols. We get to see the story and paths of two friends and the relationships between themselves and the women in their lives as they age. Among one of Jack's finest performances.
He would've been so great in an early Scorcese picture as a tough wiseguy. Very good and realistic script with a lot of profanities and swearing. Candice Bergen and Ann-Marget are also good in their roles.
