Review of Carnal Knowledge (1971) by David S — 22 Mar 2012
The characters are spot on in Carnal Knowledge in depicting the two main male views of relationships and women. Nicholson plays the player all too perfectly, and Garfunkel is the timid manipulative man to the bone.
The movie is able to show the dispiriting view of relationships all too well, although, as a movie, it lacks 100% interest.
