This is quite possibly the best swashbuckling pirate movie ever. Errol Flynn's first hit - it actually stays fairly close to the book by Rafael Sabatini - except for a few deviations... all together a phenomenal film.
Can't beat Errol Flynn or Basil Rathbone as pirates. Olivia de Haviland was amazing, of course.
