The first of a genre that would dominate action movies for years to come, the first of 12 difficult collaborations between Curtiz & Flynn, the first of 8 between Flynn & De Havilland, and te first for Flynn tout court.
It's also the movie that made me fall in hopeless teenage love with Flynn, and that's despite the awful hairdo.
