Review of Capricorn One (1977) by Kjetil H — 14 May 2011
Entertaining, though somewhat dated, 70's conspiracy movie about a faked mission to Mars. The uneven script feels like a screwball comedy from the 30's at times; especially the scenes with Elliot Gould and his love interest or his editor.
Great chase sequence near the end involving 2 government helicopters (color black, of course) chasing a crop duster piloted by a terrifically out of place, though hilarious, Telly Savales. Oh yeah, OJ Simpson plays an astronaut, though with, thankfully, few lines.
