Review of The Professionals (1966) by K S — 10 Oct 2008

This is a relatively lackluster western in my opinion. It's filled with actors that have done very well in other westerns, but the story, script, and execution could use alot of work. Cardinale really only works in films where she is not required to speak much (think 8 1/2).

Leone used her reasonably well too. The all-star cast here can't rescue the film from its mediocrity though. However, I will grant it has a great ending.
