I loved the pub scene - dancing to the piano tune... certainly this is not an amreican movie and I quite like that. the colour, music, actors... plot wise, neither asian horror. there'd be some similar stuff set in those freaky village tho.
as its Japanese title is kinda 'village of freaks', I had imagined more kinky, cheapy stuff. glad this was beyond expectation in some way.
