Review of Call Northside 777 (1948) by Michael L — 13 Dec 2008
A pretty good crime thriller, not that it's really that thrilling. But you really follow James Stewarts character as he uncovers more and more evidence and realises the 'cop-killer' is innocent.
While certainly not film noir as Fox has labeled it, it's a decent flick that keeps your attention without resorting to sub-plots or exciting set-pieces.
