Review of BUtterfield 8 (1960) by Hezekiah J — 13 May 2008
"I was the slut of all time!".
This movie falls just short of being decent. It has a good set up: Elizabeth Taylor as a call-girl, out of her comfort zone as "innocent" girls. But it drags. And drags. And you wonder why you even bothered with such a movie in the first place, and that you should've just watched Breakfast at Tiffany's instead, since you obviously felt like watching a movie about a call-girl in the first place.
We've obviously seen better from Taylor, although she gives a good performance. It's solid.
