Review of Broken English: Three Songs by Marianne Faithfull (1979) by Pascal V — 24 Jul 2008
My wife has a lot of control over what I see at the cinema... which isn't so bad, because I see a lot of films I wouldn't otherwise. This one is strange, because the main characters development is believable and well acted even if the script is outlandish -- if you see it notice how the character's travel/don't travel on a whim without seeming particularly rich.
Fun to see Gena Rowlands in a serious role after Joey.
