Review of Brighton Rock (1948) by Kelly H — 18 Jun 2007
This is the best film noir ever made, Gilda a close second.I'm sorry but it came out in 1947 not 51. Attenborough is thoroughly conivincable as the deviant young Pinky Brown. As one of his first roles this shines as one of the only roles in which he didn't play a flighty character, but rather one of strong distinction.
