One of the best 10 films , from the beginning of cinema .. Lean with two excellent actors in a bright scenario of Noel Coward , just puts his camera and seams to follow the characters.
he has as scene a simple town , in England just after the horror of world war 2 .
the film has been remake many times with very poor results ...the most serious.
trial made with two great actors R. de Niro and Maryl Streap . nothing again ..
