Review of Brick Lane (2007) by Shalenta M — 05 Aug 2009
I'm accidentally following a pattern in which I keep seeing movies and realizing immediately afterward that I have to read the book in order to understand everything that's going on. Brick Lane is yet another example of that.
It's beautifully filmed and definitely well acted, but I have a feeling that I'm missing out--yet again--on some of the crucial back story. One of these days I'll get it right.
