Review of Brick Lane (2007) by Greg K — 06 Apr 2010
A beautiful take on the trials and tribulations of an immigrant family in the 9/11 era of 'progressive' London. Through the film is generally well done, I wish there was more plot development, more of what was missed back home.
Without those developments, however, you have the story and the yearning for more. The unknown and self searching is precisely what the film is about.
