An excellently made homage to film noir, surprisingly converted well to a high school setting. Sometimes hard to follow, but Joseph Gordon-Levitt's character is incredibly awesome and can rank with detectives like Sam Spade.
The score was also excellent. Kind of convoluted and overly complex for the high school setting.
