Review of Brick (2006) by Jk9785 — 01 Nov 2018
Rian Johnson's first feature film, albeit not his very best, is fantastic. The dialogue feels like it's from the 40's, and while some may consider that a flaw, I consider it the biggest success, as this is meant to be a neo-noir film.
The acting from JGL is superb, and when that mixes with beautiful camerawork from Steve Yedlin and Rian Johnson's direction, you've got yourself a nice little noir thriller.
