Review of Brick (2006) by Kevin H — 26 Feb 2013
Not exactly sure what the hell I was watching, but it was engrossing nonetheless. Joseph Gordon-Levitt plays a detective like character of Brendan, out to find how this love of an ex-girlfriend ended up dead.
He does this by getting in with a crew of dangerous people and uncovers the truth. Rian Johnson had made an elaborate, criming-solving, high school drama and it is a different but interesting blend. It may take several viewings to understand exactly what happened though.
