Review of Breaking and Entering (2006) by Paul K — 29 Mar 2009
Ah, the problems of young, creative upper middle class professionals trying to balance career and family with troublesome lower class distractions while they seek a meaningful thing to do in life without burning themselves out.
Actually, a well-acted movie with good characters that keep you interested while they walk their metaphorical tightropes and pursue their passionate ideas. Jude Law, Robin Wright Penn, Juliette Binoche are fine, but ultimately there's something missing in all this comfortable, stylish, ideal driven sterility.
