Bone Tomahawk.
A small posse ventures out into the harsh southwestern wilderness in the hopes of rescuing fellow townsfolk captured by cave dwelling cannibals.
Kurt Russell leads a solid cast in this western/horror genre mash-up where a tale of two movies is clearly at play. Be warned: this film is a slow-burn story that climaxes with one of the most brutally gory scenes I've viewed. Not for the faint of heart.
Grade: B-.
