Review of Blue Velvet (1986) by Soham G — 03 Sep 2011
This and Pulp Fiction are two of the most recent changers in film, but while Tarantino has never produced a great film after his magnum opus, Lynch continue to pump out quality bizarrity after quality bizzarity.
Blue Velvet combines some of the best used symbolism and imagery in movies along with Dennis Hooper at his most manic. No wonder Lynch hired Cage for Wild At Heart.
